Your privacy is very important. That’s why all personal data you submit will be controlled by Caroline Oliver Jewellery (the Data Controller for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)). COJ complies fully with relevant data protection legislation.  We will only process personal data in accordance with the applicable rules and this privacy policy, and never share client details with third parties  for marketing or any other purposes unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy.

As this business evolves, this Privacy Policy will be amended to maintain compliance with GDPR rules. If updates are made, it will be displayed clearly at the top of the privacy page.

YOUR BASIC INFORMATION 

This website utilises the information that you provide voluntarily such as your name, address and phone number so that we can process your orders and post them to you. We do not use any information to identify you in any way or pass your details to third parties and only use the information which you provide where it is necessary to perform our contract with you, where it is necessary for our legitimate business interests (and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests or where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory information.

USING YOUR INFORMATION

We don’t currently use an email subscription or have marketing material or newsletters. So we won’t be using your details to send advertising or marketing information to either your email address or home address.

In future, if you do wish to subscribe to any emails from us, you will be asked to consent or “subscribe”. You may opt-out of this to withdraw your consent at any time.

We do use your email address to update you about your order or to contact you should there be any issues with an order you’ve made, such as notifying you of any “delays to the delivery”, if an “item is out of stock” or simply “your order is on its way”.Your invoice will also normally be sent to you this way.

Occasionally, and only if necessary, we may phone you to discuss your order status.

If you no longer wish to have your basic information stored with COJ, please email admin@carolineoliver.co.uk so it can be deleted. But keeping this basic data will help returning customers with future orders and communication. We don’t keep your details for longer than is necessary but will keep your details for up to 2 years after your last order. If you wish to have your information deleted before this time, please contact the above email address.

This website does not currently process payments itself or store your financial data. COJ has chosen PayPal to process your payment and you may refer to their security and privacy policies by visiting their website www.paypal.com. COJ has no control over that, or any other, third party website and is not responsible for their privacy statements.
