YOUR BASIC INFORMATION
This website utilises the information that you provide voluntarily such as your name, address and phone number so that we can process your orders and post them to you. We do not use any information to identify you in any way or pass your details to third parties and only use the information which you provide where it is necessary to perform our contract with you, where it is necessary for our legitimate business interests (and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests or where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory information.
USING YOUR INFORMATION
We don’t currently use an email subscription or have marketing material or newsletters. So we won’t be using your details to send advertising or marketing information to either your email address or home address.
In future, if you do wish to subscribe to any emails from us, you will be asked to consent or “subscribe”. You may opt-out of this to withdraw your consent at any time.
We do use your email address to update you about your order or to contact you should there be any issues with an order you’ve made, such as notifying you of any “delays to the delivery”, if an “item is out of stock” or simply “your order is on its way”.Your invoice will also normally be sent to you this way.
Occasionally, and only if necessary, we may phone you to discuss your order status.
If you no longer wish to have your basic information stored with COJ, please email firstname.lastname@example.org so it can be deleted. But keeping this basic data will help returning customers with future orders and communication. We don’t keep your details for longer than is necessary but will keep your details for up to 2 years after your last order. If you wish to have your information deleted before this time, please contact the above email address.
This website does not currently process payments itself or store your financial data. COJ has chosen PayPal to process your payment and you may refer to their security and privacy policies by visiting their website www.paypal.com. COJ has no control over that, or any other, third party website and is not responsible for their privacy statements.
This website uses Instagram Insights to link to COJ Instagram account to assess the success of Instagram interactions. This site does not collect personally identifiable information or show which personal profiles have interacted with COJ on Instagram. Google Analytics or similar tools are currently not used.
Both the COJ Facebook and Instagram pages can be accessed by using the social media buttons at the bottom of the website. Once you have left COJ and accessed those websites or apps, the policies of those websites and apps will apply. There is no other connection or affiliation between this website and Instagram or Facebook. Please refer to their own policies when using their websites or apps if you want to find out more. COJ has no control over those, or any other, third party websites and is not responsible for their privacy statements.
Any data transmitted from this site is encrypted using a SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate. The SSL will establish an encrypted link between the web server and the browser visiting this site. This means that we have put in place appropriate security measures to ensure that all data transferred will be kept private. Unfortunately, the transmission of information through the internet is never completely secure and so, although we do our best to protect your personal data at all times, any transmission is made at your own risk.
